Experience what you have never experienced before. The old Dutch Masters reimagined by the new Dutch Masters. The very best Dutch digital artists have created a new world. A world where you go on parade with the unearthly creatures of Jeroen Bosch, get immersed in the colourful scenes of Van Gogh and dance on the beat of Mondrian’s ‘Victory Boogie Woogie’.
This unique 60-minute experience also includes walking through a waterfall, making your own UFO fly on a gigantic LED Screen, interacting with schools of fish and sailing through the clouds.
Over 1,500 m2, including 60 state-of-the art projectors, 50 loudspeakers, 15 km of cables and 245 million pixels with a 20,000-pixels resolution and the largest indoor LED screen in Europe. Located under the Erasmus Bridge with a terrace that has the best view on the skyline of Rotterdam.
THE EXPERIENCE
1. PLAYGROUND
Create your own 3D-Digital Art by drawing and scanning your image. It will be shown on the biggest indoor LED-screen in Europe. Push the buttons so you can have Godzilla appearing! Or maybe even rainbows, octopuses, rain, confetti and falling stars.
WATERFALL
Enter our Digital World through the tide. Let waves of LED guide you through the waterfall and enter the dark.
BLACKOUT ALLEY
It’s your first encounter with some of the creatures by Jeroen Bosch; get below the surface and hear the sounds of what lives underneath.
2. UNDERWORLD
Dive without any need of diving gear. Interact with thousands of fish and wonder at their serenity.
3. DRIP CAVE & ELEVATOR
Step out the water into the drip cave and get into the elevator which takes you to the clouds.
4. OVERWORLD
Walk through the clouds and gaze at the birds dancing in flocks. Step into the boat and sail across the clouds.
5. SPECULUM: EDEN, PARADISE AND HELL
Enter the garden of earthly delights.
At the time indicated on your ticket, you will be invited to enter the experience. Make sure you arrive in the Welcoming Area at least 15 minutes before the time indicated on your ticket, otherwise you risk missing (parts of) the experience.
You then follow a set route that leads you through four rooms that each offer a different experience, ending in the final room where at set times the Remastered show of approximately 30 minutes will start. After the show you will leave the experience through the Earth Alley to return to the Welcoming Area.
